We start the morning in Great Spirit as it was the only holiday program that was held for the firgrove and Makassar children. Kids’ athletics was really a new start for many of the children and they truly fall in love with it. We reach about 50+ children and group them into 4 groups as we take them station by station some show great athletic potential on that day and others a more multi sport ability.
The holiday program given the (DCAS) team also a chance to inter act with the children and they could also show off what they learn at the very first course that was held for coaches at the western Province kids’ athletics course.
We plan to do as much programs like the kids athletics program in the community to sharpen kids talents and to give them a real sporting chance especially after school and over weekends when they just at home doing nothing it will also decrease the percentage of youth crime ect.
We were fortunate to have Jag Rugby in our community on Friday it was also a huge success as barry and his coaching staff introduce the basics of rugby. Lot of talent was spotted and again great potential players can be sharpen we reach a total of 40+ young school players and it was really appreciated by the community and the young players a great THANX to jag foundation!!!
